Two clubs chasing the Apertura Liga MX title will do battle today in a league match between Monarcas Morelia and Tigres UANL. The first-division clash scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Morelos in Morelia and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on ESPN Deportes.
Speaking ahead of tonight's match, Tigres UANL manager Ricardo Ferretti admitted his team was not playing at a high enough level. "We have to play better," Ferretti said (via AM Queretaro). "We're not satisfied [with our performance thus far]. There's not much to say nor expand on. We must improve our performance."
"I don't think we were playing against Puebla at the level we really should be at."
For Tigres, the time to improve on past performances is now.
