The WWE threw a 61st birthday celebration for Hulk Hogan on its Aug. 11 edition of Monday Night RAW which was the go-home show for SummerSlam, and Hogan recently said he was upset with comments that new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar made about him by going off the script.

Lesnar interrupted Hogan's birthday celebration, which included legends such as "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff and nWo originals Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, and said "party's over, grandpa" to the WWE Hall of Famer.

There were reports that the line was unscripted and that Lesnar improvised it, possibly with the aid of his manager Paul Heyman. Hogan recently told TMZ he was upset about it, though it's hard to tell if it was in kayfabe or not.

Backstage News On Why Brock Lesnar Dominated John Cena At SummerSlam

"All I gotta say is Brock, I haven't done anything to get in your way but if you keep throwing my name around I'm gonna get in your way," said Hogan, who has praised John Cena and predicted him to win the match at SummerSlam this past Sunday that ultimately saw Lesnar win the gold.

Hogan reportedly has one more match left in him, and this could be used to build toward that though it is unlikely Hogan could handle Lesnar's in-ring style. Hogan reportedly wants to face Cena or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin if he'd come out of retirement, but the WWE hasn't confirmed a Hogan in-ring return.

It's unknown if Hogan was legitimately upset about Lesnar making fun of his age, but he seemed to have some hurt in his voice when he talked about Lesnar making the comments in front of his family.

"You can't say that stuff like you said Brock, in front of my wife and kids. It's not cool brother," he said. "I know this is all entertainment. You know we're supposed to have fun with it but when he starts throwing my name around, with my wife and my kids, it's crossing the line."

Lesnar is slated to face Cena in a rematch at Night of Champions on Sept. 21 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, and this could all be part of the storyline leading up to the rematch.

Whether or not Hogan is actually upset remains to be seen, but "The Hulkster" had a lot to say about "The Beast" after their altercation two weeks ago on RAW.
