The WWE wasted little time in announcing the main event for Night of Champions 2014 on Sept. 21 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville following the huge SummerSlam event and there are rumors of some other matches that will help round out the card.

WWE SmackDown Spoilers From Phoenix

Triple H revealed on Main Event Tuesday night on the WWE Network that John Cena has activated his rematch clause and will meet WWE World Heavyweight Champion "The Beast" Brock Lesnar in a rematch for the gold after Lesnar dominated him at SummerSlam.

It appears as though the United States Championship match at Night of Champions will see Sheamus defend his title against Cesaro after the two extended their feud from Main Event onto Twitter.

The two were involved in an on-screen altercation on Main Event and afterwards Sheamus took to Twitter to call Cesaro out and continue the feud.

"If you want my #USTitle @WWECesaro take off that cheap suit & fight me for it fella. Otherwise, keep your cheesy mitts off. #MainEvent," Sheamus tweeted.

After a fan got on Sheamus for never defending his title, Cesaro agreed with the fan and Sheamus then said he'd take on Cesaro anytime which likely means the two will cross paths at Night of Champions.

"Anytime Anyplace Anywhere @WWECesaro," Sheamus wrote.

Another likely match at Night of Champions is a SummerSlam rematch pitting Chris Jericho against Bray Wyatt for the third consecutive pay-per-view bout between the two.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that there was one idea at SummerSlam to have the Wyatt vs. Jericho match be solely about building up Wyatt. Wyatt was reportedly supposed to win the first encounter with Jericho at Battleground until Vince McMahon overruled the decision, but he got his revenge at SummerSlam.

It is expected that Wyatt and Jericho will go one-on-one in some sort of stipulation match at Night of Champions in what will likely be Jericho's last appearance on his current run with the WWE due to the fact that he is leaving after the event to promote Fozzy and his new book.

Night of Champions takes place live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Sept. 21 and while the main event of Lesnar vs. Cena is the only official match, Sheamus vs. Cesaro in a U.S. title bout and Jericho vs. Wyatt in a stipulation contest should be added soon.
