Game 23: South Korea vs. Japan, 3 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Game 24: Nevada vs. Pennsylvania, 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)
These two teams have been above and beyond the best teams in the international side of the racket and now they meet for the first time in a double elimination matchup.
Japan, the defending champions, have shown a great deal of balance considering they have won games 1-0 as well as showing off their bats in a 9-5 win against Mexico. South Korea shows up into this tournament having never lost a matchup when they have qualified for the Little League World Series. Something has to give when these two great squads square off on Wednesday.
The loser of this matchup will be forced to play in Game 25 against a Mexico team that topped Venezuela 11-1 to earn the right to play on. The winner of this game will advance to the International championship game on Saturday.
Nevada vs. Pennsylvania is the other double elimination game on the slate as these two American teams will play at 7:30 PM EST.
