This is do-or-die for both teams as Mexico and Venezuela look to advance to the next round of the Little League World Series after a series of ups and downs. Both teams have been great thus far, but slipped up and received their only losses against the Japanese team.

Mexico won an impressive Canada team 4-3 and lost to Japan 9-5 before bouncing back to beat Australia 6-2. Venezuela has had their share of excitement as well as they lost a thriller to Japan 1-0 and responded by destroying Canada 10-0 and then winning another dramatic game against Puerto Rico 2-1.

Venezuela has gotten no credit for having one of the best pitching performances in recent tournament history as they have only allowed two runs in three games. The key to the game will be if Mexico can get to the Venezuelan pitching early, if at all, they then have to hold below three runs.

The winner of this game advances to the next round and play the loser of the South Korea and Japan game on Wednesday.
