Two clubs in the opposite halves of the Ligue 1 table will do battle today in a league match between Bordeaux and AS Monaco. "Urgency" is the name of the game for French outfit AS Monaco. After falling to Lorient in the season opener, the club returns to the pitch in hopes of rectifying previous errors. Manager Leonardo Jardim has stressed the importance of doing so ahead of today's clash.
"It is urgent that we win as soon as possible," Jardim said on Friday (via Goal). "We want to produce a quality game and be ambitious. The goal before every game is to win, [whether it's] at Monaco or elsewhere. We must fix what did not work last Sunday."
Jardim can begin with making the most of possession. Despite having just 34 percent of the ball and three shots on target, Lorient were able to escape Stade Louis II with the victory.

Player to Watch: Bordeaux's Gregory Sertic was pivotal in the club's 1-0 victory in Week 1. The 25-year-old took control of the midfield, making three timely interceptions and completing 89.2 percent of his 74 passes.
