Optimism is abound following Arsenal's comprehensive Community Shield victory over Manchester City on Sunday. Manager Arsene Wenger had nothing but glowing praise for his players following the contest, proclaiming he boasts one of the most potent attacks he's ever had during his tenure.
"I felt we had a complete performance in the first half and we stuck together well in the second half," Wenger said following his club's 3-0 victory (via Sky Sports). "Today was good preparation. It was important to win today and now we focus on a very different game next week [against Crystal Palace]."
"It was important for our confidence to win the game," he added. "We also had a quality performance and that is comforting for me. I have more attacking options than I had for a long time, that's for sure. We are a strong squad."
Will it be strong enough, however, to lift the Premier League title this season?
