WWE Superstar Roman Reigns appeared on ESPN Thursday to promote the company's SummerSlam event airing live this Sunday from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and he "crushed" some top athletes on the network.

Reigns appeared on ESPN alongside Michelle Beadle and attacked cardboard cutouts of Cleveland Cavilers star LeBron James, Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel and Charlotte Hornets star Lance Stephenson.

Beadle lined up the cutouts to set the stage for the segment.

"Ugh, I gotta do all of this summer cleaning in time for SummerSlam," Beadle said while carrying over cardboard cutouts of James in a Miami Heat jersey, Manziel in a Texas A&M uniform and Stephenson suited up as an Indianapolis Pacer. "I'm getting rid of all of this old junk...Roman can you help me please?"

Reigns then came in and said, "I got you Beadle, watch out now."

Reigns proceeded to break the cardboard of Stephenson over his knee, deliver a Super Man Punch to Manziel and then he took a steel chair to James, tearing through all three of the cutouts one-by-one in front of what sounded like an astonished crowd.

"If you're gonna swing it, ya better swing it," Reigns said before blasting James with a steel chair.

"That's what I call some summer cleaning," Beadle said to close the segment.

Added Reigns: "Believe that."

This was a fun way of building toward the SummerSlam pay-per-view in which Reigns will battle Randy Orton in a singles match live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET Sunday night.
