Adrien Broner appeared on Showtime Saturday night to do an interview with Brian Kenny and promote his September 6 fight vs. Emmanuel Taylor, and during that interview hinted he would be willing to fight Danny "Swift" Garcia.
Broner intimated his current plan is to stay put at 140 lbs. for a while and go for a fourth title in four weight classes by the age of 25. To do that he may have to go through Garcia, who destroyed his opponent later that night and may face Lamont Peterson in a unification battle.

"Everyone knows in boxing you take one fight at a time," Broner said to Kenny. "I definitely want to win a world title at 140 so I can be a 4-time world champion in 4 different weight classes at 25. Boxing is a business. I've got love for a lot of fighters in the game, but boxing is a business. If it [a fight against Danny Garcia] makes sense, I'm with the money."
Broner rebounded from a brutal loss to Marcos Maidana at welterweight with a comfortable victory against Carlos Molina at light welterweight, his first fight in the division. Broner didn't necessarily wow the fans with the victory, but he admitted to some kinks he needed to work out.
Broner called out by John Molina
I went in [against Carlos Molina] untouched and I came out untouched," Broner said of the Molina fight. "I partied with my family and kissed my babies, and now we're on to the next one. That's all that I was doing. I did that and I was successful and now it's on to another one. I had some ring rust. It means a lot [to fight Emmanuel Taylor in Cincinnati]. The home crowd is electrifying and they love me down there."
