Two clubs chasing the Apertura Liga MX title will do battle today in a league match between Tigres UANL and Club America. The first-division clash scheduled for 8 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Universitario in San Nicolas and can be live streamed here free. Having heard the comments of Tigres UANL's Emanuel Villa, in which the striker proclaimed Club America were not dumb and understood the quality of opponent they will be facing this afternoon, manager Antonio Mohamed displayed his deference to the media. The native Argentine has no regard for pre-match blathering.
"Everything that's said before a match means nothing to me," Mohamed said (via Medio Tiempo). "The only reality is that the match this Saturday at 7 p.m. [local time], and the only thing that will do the talking is the [league] table. We don't worry about anything but us because worrying about the opposition can be exhausting."
Mohamed and company will look to let their football do the talking at the Estadio Universitario this evening.
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: Emanuel Villa has done his talking off the pitch, but it's midfielder Hernan Burbano who's been the most vocal on it. The 26-year-old is among the club's leaders with two goals and four chances created.
