Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET, the Oakland Raiders and Minnesota Vikings kick off their preseasons live from TCF Bank Stadium in Minnesota. The game can be live streamed here. Oakland fans can hear all of the action on 97.5 The Game while Minnesota fans can do the same on KFAN 100.3.
Oakland comes off of a year where it finished 4-10 and in fourth place in the AFC West, missing the playoffs for the 11th straight season. Minnesota finished 5-10-1 last season and in fourth place in the NFC North while missing the playoffs for the third time in four seasons.
The Raiders made a lot of changes this offseason and brought in Matt Schaub and Derek Carr under center. Schaub struggled in Houston last season, going 219-for-358 (61.2%) for 2,310 yards with 10 touchdowns and 14 interceptions
Rod Streater led Oakland receivers last season with 80 catches for 888 yards and four touchdowns.
Mike Zimmer makes his debut as Minnesota coach while 2014 NFL Draft selection Teddy Bridgewater may receive some reps under center. Bridgewater, Matt Cassel and Christian Ponder will all be vying for the starting quarterback job for the Vikings.
Cassel led the Vikings last season, going 153-for-254 for 1,807 yards with 11 scores and nine interceptions.
Greg Jennings led the receiving corps, amassing 68 receptions for 804 yards and reaching the end zone four times. Adrian Peterson continued to revolutionize the ground game for Minnesota, rushing for 1,2666 yards on 79 attempts with 10 touchdowns.
