Tonight at 10 p.m. ET, the Dallas Cowboys and San Diego Chargers kick off their preseasons live from Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The game can be live streamed here. Dallas fans can hear all of the action on 105.3 The Fan while San Diego fans can do the same on The Mighty 1090.

Dallas is coming off of a season where it finished 8-8 for the third straight year and missed the postseason for the fourth season in a row while San Diego is coming off of a 9-7 finish to 2013 where it finished in third place in the NFC West before losing to the eventual AFC champion Denver Broncos in the divisional round.

Tony Romo is unlikely to play tonight after going 342-for-535 (63.9 percent) for 3,828 yards with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season. Brandon Weeden is likely to get some quality playing time in the opening game of the exhibition slate.

Quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson is hopeful that Romo will quit being so tentative when throwing deep balls.

"Hopefully he's going to get four days off now because he won't do much [Tuesday], we travel Wednesday, play the game, and then they're off on Friday," Wilson said after Tuesday's walk-through, according to ESPN. "Hopefully with four days of complete rehab he can come back on Saturday and start to look like his old self completely."

DeMarco Murray led Dallas' running game last season, rushing for 1,121 yards on 217 carries with nine scores while Dez Bryant paved the way with 93 receptions for 1,233 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Philip Rivers led the way for the Chargers last season, going 378-for-544 (69.5 percent) for 4,478 yards with 32 touchdowns and 11 picks.

Ryan Mathews paced San Diego on the ground last season with 1,255 rushing yards on 285 carries while reaching the end zone six times. Keenan Allen had 71 receptions for 1,046 yards in 2013 with eight scores.

Allen has categorized himself as a "deep threat" and Rivers heaped praise on him recently.

"He always was a great route runner," Rivers said via NBC Sports. "There just seems to be a little more juice."

The Cowboys and Chargers open up their preseason schedules when they go head-to-head tonight at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.
