Two clubs chasing CONCACAF Champions League glory will do battle today in a group-stage match between Pachuca and Real Espana. Having reached the Clausura Liga MX final, Pachuca enter today's match prime for another tournament run. Eagerness is the attitude surrounding the club this season. Defender Rodolfo Pizarro believes his team has a myriad of players capable of matching results with said excitement.

"We have very good and very capable players," Pizarro told the club website (via CONCACAF). "All of my teammates are very good and are eager to play. There is nothing else left but to compete in order to be in the starting eleven. We have to support if we are to play or not."

"It is going to be a hard match where we have to be focused during the 90 minutes and develop what the coach asks us to do to win," he added. "We are confident that we are going to get a good result. The team is unified to get it."

Pizarro and company will have the added benefit of a unified home crowd to propel them to victory.

Player to Watch: Yet to make a Liga MX appearance, defender Aquivaldo Mosquera is projected to make his debut for Pachuca this evening. The 33-year-old center-back made 17 appearances for Club America last season, averaging 13 defensive actions per match.
