RED SOX vs CARDINALS Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from ST. LOUIS

Tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET, the Boston Red Sox (49-63) and St. Louis Cardinals (60-51) play the middle contest of their three-game series live from Busch Stadium in St. Louis. The game can be live streamed for free here. Boston fans can hear all of the action on 93.7 WEEI while St. Louis fans can do the same on KMOX 1120.

In this 2013 World Series rematch, the Red Sox enter trying to snap a three-game losing streak in the second contest of an eight-game road trip while the Cardinals seek their fourth straight win in the fifth match up of a six-game homestand. In the opening game, St. Louis topped Boston 3-2 on Tuesday.

The defending World Series champion Red Sox sit in last place in the American League East, 15 games behind the first place Baltimore Orioles while the Cardinals are one-game behind the division-leading Milwaukee Brewers in the NL Central and hold the top wild-card spot.

Joe Kelly makes his Red Sox debut against the Cardinals after the team traded him along with Allen Craig a week ago for John Lackey. Kelly (2-2, 4.37) is opposed by his close-friend Shelby Miller, who is 8-8 with a 4.14 ERA for St. Louis.

Miller and Kelly were roommates during their time as teammates in St. Louis and each were the best man at each other's wedding, but they are looking forward to competing against each other.

"If you didn't like to compete, you probably wouldn't be playing baseball," Miller said Tuesday via MLB.com. "Obviously, me and Joe both compete at a lot of things, and tomorrow will be another thing. The biggest thing is just to go out there and try to pitch your best to get a win for the team. I know we'll both try to do that."

Kelly is hopeful to keep his emotions in check.

"There will be some [emotions] there, yeah," Kelly told MLB.com. "You just have to go out there and try to minimize them and focus on the task at hand."

Kelly will face a St. Louis lineup chocked full of ex-teammates, including first baseman Matt Adams, who ranks third in the NL with a .314 batting average and has 12 homers and 48 RBI. Shortstop Jhonny Peralta leads the Cardinals with 15 homers while outfielder Matt Holliday sets the pace with 58 RBI.

Boston responds with a lineup that is flanked by designated-hitter David Ortiz and first baseman Mike Napoli. Ortiz ranks third in the AL in homers (26-tied) and RBI (82) while Napoli is fourth in the league in on-base percentage (.384). Rookie third baseman Brock Holt paces the Red Sox with a .299 batting average.

It's a World Series 2013 rematch when the Red Sox and Cardinals play the middle contest of their three-game set live tonight from Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
