WWE SmackDown [SPOILERS] for 8/8/14: Road To SummerSlam Match Results From Texas

Reports indicate that the following was taped on Tuesday night for the episode of SmackDown set to air this Friday, Aug. 8 from the Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, TX as the company builds toward SummerSlam on Aug. 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

In the main event of the evening, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton fought to a no-contest after Seth Rollins interfered and attacked Ambrose, leading to a brawl. 

The show kicked off with Ambrose coming out to reveal the stipulation for their match at SummerSlam. Ambrose confirmed that the two would engage in a Lumberjack Match at the biggest show of the summer. Rollins interrupted Ambrose on the stage and revealed that he would be facing Orton later in the show.

According to the report, only two other matches took place as Sin Cara defeated Damien Sandow and Paige overcame Natalya in a Divas match in a tune-up for her bout with AJ Lee at SummerSlam.     

The WWE also continued to build up to the match between Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt at the second biggest show of the year as there was a promo with Jericho talking about facing Wyatt at SummerSlam in a match where Luke Harper and Erick Rowan will be banned from ringside.
