Sting Comments On His Inclusion In The WWE 2K15 Panel
The WWE has been advertising "special guests" for the Aug. 11 RAW which is slated to be a big one since it is the go-home show to SummerSlam on Aug. 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The show will likely feature plenty of surprises for Hogan, who turns 61 on Monday night. There have been rumors that an original nWo reunion with Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall could be in the works.
Updated SummeSlam Card And Rumors
Hall pushed the rumors even further when he hinted at a reunion on his Twitter account Monday night:
Hogan is a WWE icon and Hall of Famer, and he returned to the company after spending time in TNA. Hogan, a six-time WWE Champion, appeared at WrestleMania XXX alongside "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the opening segment between three icons who shaped the WWE into the global phenomenon it is today.
Hogan revealed recently that he is hopeful to have one last match in the WWE and that he is currently training with his goal being to face John Cena in an Icon vs. icon match somewhere down the line, similar to when he faced The Rock at WrestleMania X-8 in 2002.
Cena is headlining SummerSlam with Brock Lesnar in a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and will also appear alongside Hogan, Sting and some others during SummerSlam weekend as part of the WWE 2K15 roster reveal panel, though it is uncertain if he'll be a part of the show itself.
It's sure to be a memorable night on Monday when the WWE celebrates Hogan, the man who put the WWE and "Hulkamania" on the map.
