Rockstar Jon Bon Jovi hasn't made too many friends since throwing his hat into the ring for the right to purchase the Buffalo Bills. Bon Jovi released a letter to the city of Buffalo echoing his message that he will not attempt to move the Bills from Buffalo if he is awarded the team.

Bon Jovi, and his Toronto based investment group, are seen as the front runners to land the Buffalo Bills, but many believe that they will attempt to move the team to Canada once they buy the franchise. Bon Jovi titled the letter “Why We Are Bidding on the Buffalo Bills” and it states that "to make the Bills successful in Buffalo" is a huge part of his interest and his intentions are to stay in Buffalo.
A segment of the letter published by the Buffalo News:
"There has been a lot of conjecture, so we think it's important to clarify our intentions to the fans of the team and people of Buffalo," Bon Jovi wrote. "I know how much the Bills mean to the people of this region. So I want you to hear this from me: I'm not risking it all to let you down. If we are given the chance to be the next owners of the Buffalo Bills, I promise you that we will bring the same passion that you do every Sunday, every day.”
Buffalo Sabres owner Terry and Kim Pegula and New York’s Donald Trump are also in on the bidding for the Bills, but Trump has said it is unlikely that he will win the team when it’s all said and done.

Bon Jovi was a majority owner of the Arena Football League’s Philadelphia Soul and won a championship in 2008. The Bills expect to have a new owner at the end of August and expect to introduce them to the league at some point this season.
