The WWE has continued to make budget cuts throughout this year in order to slash company costs and amid releases that followed the WWE's earnings conference call last week, there is a lot of reaction and news coming out of the continued cuts.

Monday Night RAW Rumors And Preview

Earlier this summer, the WWE released 10 Superstars, a writer, a referee and an announcer, and they followed it up last week by releasing Ricardo Rodriguez and NXT Superstars Dani Jackson, Sam "Travis Tyler" Udell, Shaun "Slate Randall" Ricker, Jody "Garrett Dylan" Kristofferson and William "Mac Miles" McNamee.

Several of the NXT stars took to their official Twitter accounts to address their releases. Jackson noted that she was living the dream before her release on Twitter and then followed it up by saying how she is always staying optimistic despite her release.

Tyler tweeted to his followers light-heartedly following being removed from the company.

"I was probably the first guy to get fired while wearing a pink fanny pack in some time. I learned a lot and am thankful for the experience," Tyler tweeted.

Ricker noted that he is taking bookings through shaunricker@yahoo.com and that he'll be part of a web series on YouTube entitled "Nightenger!"

Kristofferson took to his Twitter account after the news broke of his release.

"Looks like I couldn't cut it... It hurts, but I have no one to blame. Thanks #NXT, It was a dream lifestyle. Loved it," he wrote.

Regarding the WWE releasing Rodriguez, his contract was set to be renewed after SummerSlam later this month, but the company decided to part ways with him. Rodriguez was reportedly "frustrated" with his lack of action after Alberto Del Rio turned on him in storyline.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that he was also dealing with an injury of some sort as well. The WWE reportedly wanted some other people to be Del Rio's personal ring announcer originally, but ended up giving Rodriguez a shot at SummerSlam 2010.

The WWE has been looking to cut costs as CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon tries to bounce back from lagging WWE Network subscriptions, a lackluster television deal signed with NBC Universal and the WWE stock taking a hit recently.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, on top of the cuts the WWE already made, the company is looking to cut $30 million from its budget in 2015, which could see the return of RAW and SmackDown being taped on the same night in the "Supershow" format next year.

WWE is also likely to cut back on the pyrotechnics for WrestleMania 31 next March at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area. With the show slated for a 4 p.m. local start in the west coast, a lot of pyro was unlikely anyway.

Regarding the WWE Network, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that there is talk backstage among talent and staff that the WWE announcers come off as insincere when promoting the WWE Network as something that's "like Netflix, but better."

A number of WWE talents are big on Netflix because of how easy it makes watching television shows and movies on the road for them. The WWE was using the line, "Like Netflix for the WWE, but better," to promote the network.

The WWE is likely to continue its ongoing budget cuts in what is a cost-cutting time for the company.
