The face of the WWE's past may meet the face of its present as WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan reportedly is training for one more match and wants to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena sometime down the line.
Hulk Hogan Discusses Sting Joining The WWE And More
Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Hogan revealed at iPlay America in New Jersey over the weekend in New Jersey at a Hulk Hogan Uncut event that he is training for one more match in the WWE and that he wants to go one-on-one with Cena.
Hogan, 60, is a six-time WWE Champion and he's praised Cena in interviews lately and called him the greatest WWE Champion of all-time. Cena, a 15-time World Champion, has been the face of the WWE for over a decade now and could possibly take on the man who put the WWE on the map with "Hulkamania" in the 1980s, leading to the creation of WrestleMania in 1985.

If the match ever does happen, it'll mark the second Icon vs. Icon match for Hogan as he faced Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson back at WrestleMania X-8 in 2002.
According to the report, a nice sized crowd showed up to support Hogan, who recently returned to the WWE family after some time in TNA by appearing in the opening segment at WrestleMania XXX alongside The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.
Jimmy Hart, Hogan's long-time friend and a former WWE manager, revealed that Hogan would be on Monday Night RAW sometime in the next few weeks, but stopped himself before spoiling the appearance for the WWE.
Hogan has been announced for Aug. 11 episode of RAW and he has also reportedly been brought on for the final RAW before SummerSlam and may appear at the biggest event of the summer on Aug. 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Hogan also appeared on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas and talked about breaking up his daughter Brooke's relationship with Dallas Cowboys center Phil Costa.
"I love the Dallas Cowboys, been a fan forever. But, my daughter was engaged to one of those guys and he didn't walk-the-walk and talk-the-talk," Hogan told the program. "I put a bullet in that really quick. There was no way my daughter was going to marry somebody that I don't like that got me mad, or has got in my face. There was a little run in with only one of the Cowboys. But you know what, he knew better than to step up cause he would have gotten slammed just like Andre the Giant."
While nothing is official, "The Hulkster" may meet the "Cenation" leader in a WWE ring sometime in the future.
