The Los Angeles Clippers clinched their first Pacific Division title in franchise history with a 109-95 win over their co-tennants, the Los Angeles Lakers, at Staples Center on Sunday. The Clippers, who historically have been overshadowed by the Lakers, completed their first season sweep of their Los Angeles rival for the first time since the 1974-75 season, when the team was known as the Buffalo Braves.

Chris Paul dominanted in the game for the Clippers. The point guard recorded a team-best 24 points and 12 assists, while also grabbing five rebounds and taking away three steals.

Blake Griffin matched Paul's 24 points while also grabbing 12 rebounds. The power forward also went 7-8 from the free throw line in Sunday's win.

The Clippers were fortunate to dominate despite impressive scoring efforts from Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard. Both scored 25 points, respectively, however saw a lack of help offensively from the rest of the team.

The Lakers ran a seven man rotation, which struggled against the solid play from the Clippers starters and bench. Three starters scored in double figures, while the Clippers bench accounted for 36 points.
