Ryan Braun Injury: Brewers Slugger Returns To Lineup After Missing 3 Games

Ryan Braun will return to the Milwaukee Brewers' starting lineup after missing three games due to spasms on the right side of his neck, according to the Associated Press. The Brewers waited to finalize their starters until after Braun took batting practice before Monday's game at Wringley Field against the Chicago Cubs.

The 2011 NL MVP seemed to be ready to return to his usual No. 3 spot in the Brewers batting order based on what the team saw. Braun had at least one hit in each of Milwaukee's first three games and is 4-for-10 with a home run and four RBIs in the young-MLB season.

Brauns hit for a .319 average with 41 home runs and 112 RBIs last season. He owns a career .313 batting average and 203 home runs since entering the Majors with Milwaukee in 2007.

Milwaukee will be without shortstop Jean Segura, who will miss time due to a bruised left quadriceps. He was injured during Sunday's 8-7, 11-inning loss to Arizona.
