Despite falling to Inter Milan in the club's International Champions Cup opener, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti walked away pleased with the performance from his players. "I am satisfied with the younger players who played a great game," he said (via Real Madrid News). "They were focused, with character. In this sense, the match went well. The players showed good physical condition. Some of the younger players showed a lot of personality. That's good."
"We played with a very good style," he added. "A fresh style to start the season. During the first 45 minutes, we were very good in the attack."
Real Madrid will have to be better in attack if they are to capture a victory over AS Roma this evening.
