Philadelphia Eagles cornerstones LeSean McCoy and Trent Cole fought at Eagles camp on Sunday and had to be separated by teammates.

Randall Cobb Says He Isn't Worth of Extension Yet

McCoy and Cole are good friends, but during a practice at training camp the drills got too physical between the two. Linebacker Brandon Graham said that the situation was a fight, but these things happen all the time at camp and its nothing to get worked up about.

"Next thing you know, they're on the ground scuffling," linebacker Brandon Graham said. "It was just a friendly thing, you know. They're always competing and talking stuff to each other. It was just one of those things.”

McCoy said he was getting too much contact for his liking and that enough was enough. He echoed that the scuffle wasn't too serious and that fights during training camp are a a good thing.

"The whole camp so far, they've just been touching just a little too much," McCoy said. "I'm trying to let them know 'it's OK, you can' t cover me.' We'll go in the locker room area and talk it out, joke it out. It's one thing when you don't know a guy and he's trying to win a job. That's actually one of my good friends.”

The Eagles are entering the season as the reigning NFC East champions and are looking to improve on 2013’s one and done playoff appearance. The Eagles finished the season 10-6 behind the emergence of quarterback Nick Foles.
