Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah is happy for LeBron James after his decision to go back to Cleveland, but that hasn't changed the All-Star’s stance on beating him.

Carmelo Anthony Says His Choice Was Between Bulls and Knicks

Noah spoke at a promotional event for Adidas on Sunday and said that the goal is and always will be to beat James and win a championship.

"Every time LeBron steps onto the court he's affecting the game," Noah told ESPNChicago.com "He's the best player in the game, but that being said, I think we have a chance to beat them. And that's the goal. We want to beat LeBron James, we want to beat the Miami Heat, we want to beat all those teams who are in our way. He's obviously one of the big obstacles.”

This isn't the first time Noah has spoken his mins about LeBron since he he decided to return to the Cavaliers. Noah spoke to K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune and said that he is every happy for Lebron, but again there will be no love lost between the two.

“I'm happy for LeBron James,” Noah said, a sly smile forming. “He gets to go home. People are happy over there. But I really hope that we can kick his a** as many times as possible.”

Noah believes with Derrick Rose returning as well as the free agency additions the Bulls made, that Chicago will once again be a force in the Eastern Conference. A Bulls team that couldn't score enough points in 2013-14 now has reloaded with the likes of veteran Pau Gasol, European import Nikola Mirotic and rookie sharpshooter Doug McDermott.
