After opening their 2014 campaign with a victory on the road, Club America returns to Mexico City this evening, prepared to bless the pitch of the Estadio Azteca. For manager Antonio Mohamed, defending and honoring the hallowed grounds is of the utmost importance this Apertura tournament.
"We need to win at home," Mohamed said (via Terra Deportes). "You always have to win, but at home, we have to be a respected team. You have to drive on the right foot. We had better numbers as visitors than as the local team last season."
"We have to return that respect we had at home."
Will America be able to earn that respect by capturing a victory over Club Tijuana this evening? Tell us @SportsWN
