Triple H is back for another in-character interview with Michael Cole that once again sheds some interesting light on WWE storylines, including the upcoming match between Brock Lesnar and John Cena at SummerSlam.

Backstage Speculation About John Cena Leaving WWE to Pursue Acting

It was revealed on RAW that Cena will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Lesnar at SummerSlam on Aug. 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Cole asked Triple H about the main event.

"Earlier in the night, I made a guarantee. I guaranteed the WWE Universe that John Cena would not walk out of SummerSlam as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion," Triple H said. "I'm gonna fulfill that promise, I'm gonna fulfill that guarantee. And at this moment, Brock Lesnar is the man to do that."

WWE Officials Unhappy With CM Punk

He added: "For whatever reason -- you know anything can happen in the WWE ring -- there's a reason why for years I was referred to as the 'Cerebral Assassin.' I'm a step ahead of everybody. I'm a step ahead of everything. This is no different. I see what's coming down, I see where it's going and I make the choice that is best for business. And right now Brock Lesnar will get the job done."

Cole also asked Triple H why he would put Cena -- who is known as the franchise Superstar in the WWE -- in such a compromising position after Lesnar ended The Streak and possibly the career of The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX on April 6.

"You don't think that's good for business? You don't think the WWE Universe wants to see that? You don't think that I should give John Cena the best possible competition? I guess you want me to play favorites, "The Game" said. "You want me to look at John Cena and say, 'well he sells t-shirts and kids like him and he's very popular and he gets on talk shows and he walks the red carpet so I should hand-pick some nice soft opponents and feed them to him so he can have a nice long title run.'"

He continued: "That's not my job. My job is competition. My job is to push people to be better. And If John Cena can't be better, then he falls by the wayside just like everybody else. I will move on in the drop of a hat. John Cena's done a lot of things. He's been a lot of things to the WWE, but when the time comes we will move on. If that time is now because Brock Lesnar ends John Cena's career on the way or at SummerSlam, well then so be it."

Cole also asked Triple H to touch on the storyline development between Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella which saw McMahon slap Bella and then get arrested on RAW

"As you know, I've been advised to not speak about this case because of pending legal action, so since you know that I'm surprised -- actually I'm shocked -- that you would take this forum to ask me that question, knowing I can't speak on it. We discussed it, move on," Triple H said.

Cole then asked how his wife was doing after the developments on Monday night, which are rumored to lead to a match between McMahon and Bella at SummerSlam.

"How is she? How do you think she is, Michael? How do you think she is, humiliated on live TV right? Suppose that was the right thing to happen," he said. "That all of that needed to happen on live television. I suppose that was right. How do you think she feels? If she was here right now would you ask her that question? No you wouldn't. You don't want to know the answer and you don't want to go down this road, so like I said Cole, move on."

WWE SummerSlam airs live on Aug. 17 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
