LeBron James gained a lot of fans back when he decided to return home and play for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and even now he is attempting win people over. James sent cupcakes to all his neighbors as an apology for the media attention in the neighborhood throughout the free agency process.

James sent all his neighbors in Bath Township a basket of cupcakes from a local bakery with a heartfelt letter that read:

"Dear Friend, We know things have been hectic in our neighborhood these past few weeks and we are sorry for the chaos. We are so thankful to live in this wonderful community and we are so blessed to have understanding neighbors like you.”

James’ free agency did cause a bit of a stir in the area and a few members of the neighborhood publicly appreciated “The Kings” token of apology.

"It was really hectic around here," said David Galehouse, a rising sophomore at Ohio State whose childhood home is a few blocks from James' house. "But it's really nice for LeBron to do something like this.”

James bought a plot of land in the area in 2003 and proceeded to build a 30,000-square-foot mansion on the land. According to residents in the ares, James, who is currently in China, is rarely seen in the neighborhood.
