After demanding a trade out of Houston, Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson arrived at the team facility to learn the new offense on Monday.

Johnson and the Texans had been at a stalemate as the team had no plans to trade the seven-time Pro Bowler. Johnson was upset that the Texans didn't address the quarterback position up to his standards and that the team wouldn't let him earn back $1 million that he lost due to missing team activities.
It isn’t known if Johnson will report to training camp, but it is a step in the right direction for the two sides as the season inches closer. Johnson was absent from all of the Texans offseason workouts including a mandatory minicamp in June.

It was reported that four unidentified teams had called the Texans looking to gauge Houston's interest in trading Johnson, but nothing developed from there. Despite the issues, Johnson has been in contact with head coach Bill O’Brien, who has had nothing but positive things to say about Johnson in public.
Johnson is longest-tenured player on the team and was the third overall pick by the Texans in the 2003 NFL draft. Johnson is the franchise leader in all major receiving statistics including receptions (927), receiving yards (12,661) and touchdowns (61).

Under CBA, Andre Johnson currently can be in the building for limited purposes. He can't be meeting with coaches to learn playbook. — ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) July 22, 2014
