In a matter of two months, the city of Cleveland has gone from a hopeless sports city to title town due to the arrival of Johnny Manziel and the return of LeBron James. Not only are the two athletes the hope of Cleveland, they lead jersey sales in their respective sports.

LeBron Split Between No. 6, 23 and 32

According to reports, Manziel’s No. 2 jersey was the highest selling jersey in the NFL from April 1 to July 17 and James’ No. 23 Cavalier jersey sold out of the NBA Store on Sunday. ESPN’s Darren Rovell reports that Manziel is the highest selling Browns’ jersey in the franchise’s history and only Brady Quinn in 2007 came close to Johnny Footballs' sales.

James on the other hand is more of an anomaly as he hasn't chosen what number he will wear in his second stint with the Cavaliers. The NBA Store sold No. 23 James’ jerseys and are expected to restock when he makes a decision on his 2014-15 number. James hasn't come to a final decision and even took to social media to create a debate around his choice.

Manziel stands atop a list of NFL players that includes San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick, Denver Broncos Peyton Manning and Seattle Seahawks Richard Sherman and Russell Wilson. James has led NBA jersey sales in six of his 11 seasons in the NBA.
