Former Buccaneers and Colts coach Tony Dungy has caused waves by taking a controversial stance on one of the offseason biggest stories. Dungy spoke his mind and said he wouldn't have drafted St. Louis Rams defensive end Michael Sam.

Sam is the first openly gay NFL player to be drafted and has faced both positive and negative feedback on his decision to go public. Dungy is the latest person to show some indifference toward Sam’s status and his stance that he wouldn't have drafted Sam is certainly not the popular one.
“I wouldn’t have taken him,’’ said former Bucs and Colts coach Tony Dungy, now an analyst for NBC. “Not because I don’t believe Michael Sam should have a chance to play, but I wouldn’t want to deal with all of it.
“It’s not going to be totally smooth … things will happen.’’
