For some members of Tottenham, this is the first time stepping on American soil. Players like Christian Eriksen are embarking on uncharted territory. "I've never been to America before, so I've a lot to see and I'm looking forward to it," he said (via the club's official website). "I've always wanted to go there, maybe on a holiday, but now I'm going with the team and I'll see what it's all about."

Striker Harry Kane impressed during the 2012 summer tour in the United States, but admits new cities makes for new experiences in 2014. "I've not been to either of these cities, so it's a chance to see new cities and we're playing new teams as well," he added. "They will be fit and ready for us, so it will be a great test and good fitness work for us. That's what it's about."
