Two clubs chasing the Apertura Liga MX title will do battle today in a league match between Club Tijuana and Puebla. The first-division clash scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Caliente in Tijuana and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on ESPN Deportes.
Club Tijuana enter the 2014 Apertura with a new focus. No detail is too minor for manager Cesar Farias to overlook. With every intention of competing for the league title, the 41-year-old has taken every concern facing his club into consideration.
"Prior to a season, one should be really alert and aware of all the details because that's what can derail a campaign and make the season a long one," Farias said (via Vavel). "One has his ideas, objects and principles, and all that's been flowing very naturally, with plenty of professionalism."
"That gives us great peace," he added. "It's not about worrying. It's about knowing the organization has a job that's not foreign to us (winning the league title), with plenty of players that are willing to embrace it."
