Liverpool Summer Tour: 33-Man Roster For United States Summer Tour Released

Liverpool FC are scheduled to arrive to the United States on July 20 for their summer preseason tour (per World Soccer Talk). As many as 33 players are expected to represent them.

The club has named its 33-man preseason roster on Thursday, with captain Steven Gerrard being joined by new signings Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Lazar Markovic. French international Mamadou Sakho and Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, fresh off World Cup knockout duty, will join their teammates after holiday.

The full preseason roster is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Brad Jones, Simon Mignolet, Pepe Reina

Defenders: Daniel Agger, Sebastian Coates, Jon Flanagan, Tiago Ilori, Glen Johnson, Martin Kelly, Jack Robinson, Mamadou Sakho, Jose Enrique, Martin Skrtel, Kolo Toure

Midfielders: Joe Allen, Emre Can, Conor Coady, Philippe Coutinho, Suso, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Jordon Ibe, Adam Lallana, Lucas Leiva, Lazar Markovic, Adam Phillips, Raheem Sterling, Joao Teixeira,

Forwards: Fabio Borini, Rickie Lambert, Daniel Sturridge, Daniel Ward

Liverpool's U.S. summer tour will begin on July 23 against AS Roma, which will serve as the club's return to Fenway Park. Just four days later, the chase for the International Champions Cup begins. Olympiakos (Chicago), Manchester City (New York) and AC Milan (Charlotte) are all on the docket in the group stage. Should Liverpool advance to the cup final, an additional stop will be made in Miami.

At full strength, here's a projected Liverpool starting XI (4-3-3): Mignolet; Flanagan, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson; Henderson, Gerrard, Coutinho; Lallana, Sturridge, Sterling.

Using a 4-2-3-1 system, Brendan Rodgers can opt for double pivot in the midfield with Markovic sitting behind Sturridge.
