There have been multiple rumors regarding Kevin Love being traded this offseason, but if Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor has his way, the three-time All-Star will show up to training camp later this year with Minnesota.

Taylor has constantly repeated his desire to retain Love rather than deal him, but the team's hand may be forced after Love revealed he has no intentions of staying in Minnesota when his contract expires next summer.

Despite the fact that the Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics have all been linked to trade rumors involving Love this summer, Taylor is insistent that he doesn't want to deal him.

"My preference is that Kevin will come to [training] camp -- and I'm sure he will -- and play with the team," Taylor said in an interview with NBA TV.

Taylor has been adamant that if the Timberwolves do move Love, they won't trade him without getting equal or better value back. Minnesota hasn't pulled the trigger on deals with Golden State and Cleveland because the Warriors refuse to put Klay Thompson in the swap while the Cavaliers will not include 2014 No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins.

"We are going to look at everything that makes sense that would make our team better," Taylor said. "But we are not going to move a superb player like [Love] without getting equal or more value back."

Love has said he wants out of Minnesota due to being tired of losing. The Timberwolves finished 40-42 in 2013-14 and missed the postseason for the 10th straight year and sixth season in a row with Love on the roster.

It was reported that the Timberwolves were listening to potential deals for Love and would take a patient approach in dealing him by waiting for top-tier free agents such as LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony to sign with their respective teams so that franchises that missed out would get desperate and offer more for Love's services.

Even now with the best free agents on the market finding homes, Taylor hasn't changed his desire to keep the three-time All-Star despite the fact that he reportedly wants out of Minnesota and the team could risk losing him for nothing in 2015.

Taylor was asked by NBA TV about the fact that Love wants to leave because he wants to make a playoff run and is tired of losing.

"I say back to Kevin, 'Well, that's all I want, too,' " Taylor said.
