The Cleveland Cavaliers may have won the LeBron James sweepstakes, but that doesn't mean the team's offseason plans are complete as reports indicate the Cavs may be working on a three-team deal to land Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Kevin Love.

Timberwolves In No Rush To Trade Kevin Love

According to Cleveland sports anchor Mike Cairns, the Cavaliers are involved in three-way trade talks with the Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors that could potentially bring Love to Ohio.

The report indicates that the Cavaliers would land Love while the Timberwolves would receive Tristan Thompson in return along with Klay Thompson from Golden State while the Warriors would receive a number of first-round draft picks.

Cavs Unlikely To Include Andrew Wiggins In Any Trades

The trade may not actually happen, but it has been discussed as James and the Cavaliers both want Love in Cleveland and Love even called ending up playing with James and the Cavs "intriguing."

There were reports that Minnesota may take its time in trading Love and wait until the upper-tier free agents signed so that teams that missed out on big signings would get desperate and offer more, but after a busy weekend of signings in the NBA, the Timberwolves may be more open to trading him now.

The Timberwolves didn't want to part ways with Love, but he has been vocally adamant that he wants to sign with a contender when he becomes a free agent in 2015 and will not remain in Minnesota since he is tired of losing.

Minnesota has missed the playoffs for 10 straight seasons and the last six with Love on the team, and the three-time All-Star is looking for a new home where he can contend for an NBA title. While the T-Wolves were reluctant to deal him at first, the team has opened its stance and listened to potential offers as it doesn't want to lose Love next summer for nothing.

There were reports that the Timberwolves came close to dealing Love to the Warriors prior to the NBA Draft, but a pact between the two sides never came to fruition.

Love, 25, finished the 2013-14 campaign averaging 26.1 points per game and 12.2 rebounds per game.
