There are few fighters in boxing more polarizing than Adrien "The Problem" Broner, a brash former three-division champion who rebounded from his first career loss by dominating Carlos Molina in a 140-lb. matchup. Broner hinted on Twitter that his return to the ring is near, sending out a message that read "After a long day of hard work, a hot bubble bath is needed #september6 #TheReturnOfAdrienBroner."

Broner's expected to share the card with another of boxing's most exciting names, Lucas Matthysse. While Broner drums up much of his excitement by talking, Matthysse prefers to limit his thrills to the ring. The Argentinian knockout artist also rebounded from a loss to Danny Garcia by knocking out John Molina in a Fight of the Year candidate.

Showtime Sports executive Stephen Espinoza said that the card is being worked on, and neither Broner nor Matthysse even have an opponent yet. "We're still coming into shape. The venue has not been decided yet, and it has not been decided that it will be in San Antonio. ... Preliminarily, we're thinking that it could be Broner and Matthysse in separate fights. Gonzalez may be there, but we're not sure about the third fight."
It isn't readily apparent who their opponents could be. Danny Garcia is tied up in an August 9 card at the Barclays Center against Rod Salka, and Lamont Peterson will be fighting on the same card vs. Edgar Santana. Mauricio Herrera, who fought Garcia tough, will be in action this Saturday so he'd be on a short turnaround.
