Prior to knocking out Alexis Davis 16 seconds into the opening round of their fight at UFC 175, UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey spoke about the possibility of appearing in the WWE and CM Punk's departure from the company.

Spoilers And Preview For Monday Night RAW

"Rowdy" spoke with Ariel Helwani to promote this past weekend's UFC 175 event and spoke about the WWE. Rousey is a known WWE fan and there have been rumors that she'll make an appearance at this year's SummerSlam event on Aug. 17 live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Rousey spoke about Punk, who walked out on the company in January due to increasing frustration with the way he was used and from being burned out from the rigorous travel schedule.

Roman Reigns Rumored To Win Royal Rumble And Headline WrestleMania 31

"No one can make you have passion for something if you don't," Rouse said. "I felt that way about judo, it was over. I was over it and didn't want to do it anymore. If he wants to come back and finds that passion again, I would love to see that but if it's time to move on with his life then he has 100% of my support in that as well."

Punk, whose real name is Phil Brooks, hasn't been seen since walking out on the WWE the day after the Royal Rumble prior to a live Monday Night RAW telecast, though he did get engaged to and then married WWE Diva A.J. Lee, who took a hiatus from the company to move in with him.

The absence of Lee led to rumors that she was pregnant, but those were quashed when she returned to the company last Monday on RAW and won back the Divas Championship from Paige after she had lost it to her on the April 7 episode on the night after WrestleMania XXX as a way to write her out of storylines.

Punk has made appearances at Chicago sporting events and a few different television shows, but he has reportedly enjoyed his free time and a close friend referred to him as a retired wrestler, leading to the belief that he may not return despite the fact that Lee did.

Punk's contract is set to expire sometime this month, though he hasn't been seen in the WWE since January and he is rarely mentioned on television except for a few different periods since his departure.

Rousey also spoke about the WWE and whether or not she'd consider a post-UFC WWE career.

"It's so similar to planning out fight scenes. I was just kind of messing around and thinking about cool moves to do in fight scenes," Rousey said. "I really think of WWE like the purest form of stunts, kind of like in movies they say the purest form of acting is theater because it's live and all in one shot. I feel like WWE is the same for stunt work. I just kind of try to borrow from them a little bit and maybe I can steal some of their stunt work, throw it in a movie. If an opportunity comes up to show up and be a guest host or whatever, that would be pretty cool."

The WWE has been hoping to book Rousey in some capacity for SummerSlam, and given her enjoyment of the product things very well may get "Rowdy" at the biggest show of the summer next month.
