2014 Wimbledon: Day 12 Schedule
Mens’ Draw: Semifinals Matchup

No.1 Novak Djokovic vs. No. 4 Roger Federer

Day 11 Results:
Women's’ Draw

No. 6 Petra Kvitova def. No. 13 Eugenie Bouchard, 6-3, 6-0

The women’s final provided it’s fair share of fireworks as No. 6 Petra Kvitova defeated No. 13 Eugenie Bouchard in straight sets. Kvitova controlled the game top to bottom and didn't look back on her dominance of her Canadian opponent

The men’s final will be the less than surprising matchup of No.1 Novak Djokovic and No. 4 Roger Federer. Djokovic escaped a matchup with No. 11 Grigor Dimitrov while Federer completely outplayed No. 8 Milos Raonic in straight sets.

These two players have a history as they have faced each other 34 times in their professional careers. Federer leads the all time series with Djokovic 18-16, but Djokovic won their last meeting at Wimbledon’s 2012 semifinals.

Neither player had the honor of playing No. 2 Rafael Nadal or No. 3 Andy Murray at Wimbledon this year, but they will play each for the right to call themselves the 2014 Wimbledon champion. In the end, Federer should be able to establish his dominance against Djokovic and pull the upset that many believe is out of his reach.

Prediction: No. 4 Roger Federer defeats No.1 Novak Djokovic in five sets
