The Vancouver Canucks have shown interest in free agent goalie Ryan Miller and are expected to make a push for him when free agency starts July 1.

Multiple sources have confirmed that the Canucks brass have started to court Miller and the team isn't exactly been mum on the subject.

The Canucks currently play with the pair of Eddie Lack and Jacob Markstrom at goalie, but the fact that they have very little experience is a red flag to the Canucks organization going into next season. Vancouver's plan would be for Miller to come in and be the veteran presence between the pipes while one of the two young goalies matures behind him.

It is believed that if the Canucks can land the 33-year-old Miller the team would look to move one of the two young goalies. Lack will make $1.15 million for the next two seasons while Markstrom will be a restricted free agent when his deal expires in 2014-15.

Miller has played in 559 regular season games in his 12-year career as compared to the 88 games Lack and Markstrom have combined.
