The Chicago Bulls ended the Miami Heat's historic winning streak at 27-games with a 101-97 win Wednesday night at the United Center. Miami finished just six wins shy of the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers' 33-game record.

Chicago was led by a strong performance from Luol Deng. Deng scored a team-best 28 points while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out five assists in 44 minutes of play.

Carlos Boozer also gave the Bulls frontcourt a huge boost in the absence of center Joakim Noah. Boozer scored 21 points while grabbing a game-high 17 rebounds, helping Chicago out-rebound Miami by a 43-31 margin.

Despite the loss, LeBron James once again had an impressive performance. James scored 32 points while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out three assists.

Despite trailing for the majority of the game, Miami nearly pulled off another late-game comeback. However, the Bulls clutch shooting proved to be too much for the streaking Heat as they outscored Miami 32-29 in the fourth quarter.
