Roman Reigns is one of eight WWE Superstars with the opportunity to climb a ladder and win the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday night at Money in the Bank live from the TD Garden in Boston and he recently spoke about the opportunity.

Reigns, a former member of The Shield is due for a push to the main event in the next couple of months following the split of the group, and he recently spoke with DC 101 and discussed the upcoming Ladder Match against Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, Cesaro, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and John Cena and Kane.

"With this story, we're trying to climb. I've obviously worked with ladders and sticks and all the different toys. But climbing the ladder and being 10 feet in the air, that's a whole different story," Reigns told the radio show. "And like I said, I'm not a top rope guy, but at the same time you can take advantage of the ladder, use it in your advantage, but when it comes down to it you have to climb. It's going to be interesting, I'm prepared, I just don't care. If you've ever looked at my Twitter, you've seen my back. Pain, who cares?"

The reason the title is up for grabs is because Daniel Bryan's recovery from neck surgery has gone slower than previously expected, causing the WWE to cancel a planned Stretcher Match between Bryan and Kane and to put the title on the line in the Ladder Match.

It also created the need for a second Ladder Match with seven people participating for the chance to win a contract for a WWE Championship shot within the next year.

Reigns spoke about Bryan's recovery with the show.

"I've heard through the grapevine and the boys and stuff that he's doing better," Reigns said. "He's at home and I guess obviously Brie's [Bella] helping him out a good bit which is really cool on her behalf to put her career on the side to make sure her husband's fine. I wish him the most comfortable and speedy recovery."

Reigns also addressed the possibilities of the WWE splitting into RAW and SmackDown brands like it used to.

"It worked before didn't it? And I think with that dynamic too it adds to the storylines and the competition and things like that," he said. "And I think there [was] a whole PPV called Bragging Rights just based on that concept, so I think it works. If they're going to do it, who knows?"

Reigns will go for his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday at the TD Garden in Boston when the WWE presents Money in the Bank.
