Aaron Hernandez fears prison guards?

It's been a tumultuous last few days for Hernandez, who earlier this week requested a transfer from the jail where he is now being held to a facility closer to his Boston area home. In his petition, Hernandez claimed he feared for his safety and is worried guards might seek retribution against him after he was recently criminally charged week threatening to kill a prison guard and his family.

Hernandez is being held without bail and confined to solitary confinement at the facility in connection with the 2013 execution-style killing of one-time associate Odin Lloyd. In all, Hernandez now faces three first-degree murder charges after authorities also recently indicted him as the triggerman in the 2012 drive-by slayings of Safir Furtado and Daniel de Abreu outside a downtown Boston nightclub.

Aaron Hernandez broke?

Police have speculated Hernandez may have killed the 27-year-old Lloyd because of his knowledge of other violent crimes he is alleged to have been involved in. Since being incarcerated, Hernandez was also once moved to an even more secluded area of the prison after allegedly attacking and savagely beating a fellow inmate while the man was still handcuffed.
