Attorneys for former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez have asked a Bristol Superior Court judge to allow them access to psychological and other medical records of their client taken over the three seasons he spent with the team.

According to the BostonGlobe.com, attorneys believe the Patriots have "extensive records" on the 24-year-old Hernandez, including "psychological test results."

Aaron Hernandez broke?

Hernandez remains jailed and held without bail on first-degree murder charges in the June 2013, execution-style killing of one-time associate Odin Lloyd. Police have hinted they believe Hernandez may have killed the 27-year-old Lloyd because of his knowledge of other violent crimes Hernandez is suspected of having been involved in.

While in custody, police have also charged Hernandez with being the triggerman in the July 2012, drive-by killings of Safiro Furtado and Daniel de Abreu outside a downtown Boston nightclub. Hernandez also faces charges of threatening to kill a prison guard and his family, and at one point was moved to an even more remote part of the prison after attacking a fellow inmate while the man was still handcuffed. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to all the charges and is expected back in court later this month. .
