Chris Bosh is about to find out how big a part he has in the Miami Heat's Big Three.

Miami Heat are early favorites to win the NBA title in 2014-15.

The Miami Herald on Tuesday reported that Bosh indicated he wants to stay in Miami. How much persuasion he has will be determined after he, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade return from a family vacations and meet with Heat team president Pat Riley.

"I want to be here. My family is here. I love working here. It's a great place," Bosh told the Herald. "We will talk with Riles, hear his plan, talk with our families and try to figure this out. I'm sure Riley has (a definite) plan moving forward. It starts with listening to him. Eventually we will come together and figure this thing out. We feel that if we stay together, we can continue to compete. Everything is a possibility. That's why they negotiate. But I want to be here."

James confirmed that the three amigos who came together in Miami in 2011 to win not one, but two NBA titles (so far not quite as many as James predicted when they celebrated their arrival), will discuss their options together.

Rockets' Chandler Parsons says LeBron James has nothing left to prove in Miami, may move on

"There is a conversation that will be had between the three of us -- I think that's only right," James said, according to ESPN.com. "We've earned that for each other. I don't know what Dwyane right now is thinking. I don't know what Chris is thinking right now. We'll see what happens."

No one knows quite what Wade is thinking because he declined to talk to reporters Tuesday after his exit interview - the first time he hasn't spoken to the media after his exit interview since James and
Bosh arrived.

James said he will make his second "decision" based on what his family wants and his desire to win.

Each of the three has been criticized in various stages of their tenure together, which has been part of their decision to join up and create a superteam in Miami. As the bearer of the "best player in the NBA" moniker, however, James often gets the most criticism.

If he decides to leave, especially to create another superteam, James is bound to receive more criticism and fall further behind in his comparison to Michael Jordan as the greatest player ever.

Bosh believes the Big Three will return to Miami next season.

"We like it here," he said. "We have a pretty good thing going."
