John Cena and Randy Orton have both dealt with injuries this month, and as a precaution the WWE has opted to pull them from their scheduled live events this weekend as a precaution.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the two are still healing form minor injuries suffered earlier this month but are expected to be on this coming week's episodes of Monday Night RAW and SmackDown despite missing this weekend's live events.

Cena has been dealing with an eye injury that he suffered last weekend during a house show match against Bray Wyatt where it appeared as though Wyatt may have injured him while head-butting him or accidentally poked him in the eye.

Sting, WWE Close To Deal

The two were slated to face off in a rematch against each other on the following night's live event, but the WWE opted to put Cena with The Usos against the entire Wyatt Family in a six-man tag team match in order to protect Cena's eye.

Cena was also in six-man duty on Monday Night RAW last week as he teamed up with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to take on The Wyatt Family in the main event and the WWE was careful not to show Cena's eye injury too much on camera as a way to protect his image.

Orton has been dealing with a collarbone injury he suffered in a match against The Big Show on the June 3 SmackDown tapings for the episode that aired on June 5. Orton was kept off of RAW to rest up and took a picture of himself lounging in a bathing suit on Twitter to show that he was "on vacation."

Triple H announced that Orton has automatically qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship on June 29 in Boston and he doesn't have to win a match in order to get in like the other participants.

Orton joins Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Cesaro and Wyatt in the contest. Cena is also expected to be added soon.

Despite the fact that the injuries aren't too serious and the two are expected to return to action this week, Orton and Cena will take this weekend off to rest up.
