Amar'e Stoudemire is insisting he expects to return to All-Star form in new coach Derek Fisher's Triangle Offense.
"No doubt in my mind my goal is to get back to that level of just three short years ago,'' Stoudemire told the New York Post while on a media blitz to promote his new recipe book Cooking With Amar'e. "For sure, my goal is to return to the All-Star Game and compete for a championship in the postseason."

Thus far, Stoudemire said he and the man Phil Jackson tabbed as his first coaching hire have only texted back and forth, but the veteran forward is already certain the triangle is what's best for him and his game.
"With the triangle offense, it's probably the best situation for all of us,'' he added. "We get a good system we can run and stay consistent on. I've adjusted to any system I've played in. It won't be a problem.''
Stoudemire also insisted he's not worried about all the criticism the organization has received for hiring a rookie coach like Fisher when the Knicks clearly are in need of so much work.
