The WWE went on a release barrage Thursday as the company let go of 11 different talents, and there is a strong belief that more people could lose their jobs and some people in administrative roles could be let go as well.
Daniel Bryan Appearing At Money in the Bank?
The WWE announced on Thursday that JTG, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Aksana, Curt Hawkins, Theodore Long, Camacho, Brodus Clay, Evan Bourne, Yoshi Tatsu and referee Mark Harris have all been released from the company. The WWE wished them all the best in their future endeavors.
Hawkins had gotten into a Twitter argument with Mark Henry, who tweeted about being with the WWE for almost 18 years on his birthday, not knowning that his peers were released. Hawkins called him an idiot for the tweet, to which Henry responded that he knows where Hawkins lives and an apology is in order while he admitted he didn't realize there were releases.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there is only a known reason for why a few of the talents were let go but not all of them. There was a feeling that Tatsu had regressed in the ring while Clay fell out of favor with the creative team in the company.
As for Long, his contract was set to expire soon and there was a known feeling that he was going to leave once it was up, so the WWE decided to just terminate it early. Reports indicate that the biggest surprises in the WWE circle were the releases of Camacho and Hawkins because Camacho was popular in NXT and Hawkins had several years left on his deal.
Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Mark Carrano, who has been seen in the past on Total Divas and works under Triple H in talent relations made most, if not all, of the releases on Thursday via telephone. There is a growing fear within the company that the release binge isn't over and that there will be cuts on the administrative side of the organization.
There are talks that the lack of success of the WWE Network has led to the talent cuts and potential release of administrative figures in the office.
Several of the released stars took to Twitter to comment on their releases:
