The WWE pulled a rare swerve on Monday Night RAW this week when Seth Rollins turned on fellow Shield members Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns and aligned himself with Tripel H and Randy Orton of Evolution by hitting his partners with chairs. Reports indicate that wasn't on the original script.

Projecting The Full Money in the Bank Card

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the turn by Rollins wasn't mentioned on RAW scripts drafted prior to Sunday's Payback pay-per-view that saw The Shield -- in their last match as a trio -- defeat Evolution in a No Holds Barred six-man elimination tag team match.

The original script had a match between John Cena and Kane closing RAW and there was no mention of Rollins' heel turn. As seen on the show, Kane and Cena fought in the middle of the card while the show closed with Triple H telling The Shield about 'Plan B' before Rollins attacked them to the shock of many around wrestling.

Daniel Bryan Likely To Miss Money in the Bank

There is no word if the WWE changed its plans last second to fill the void left by Batista's hiatus as he will be gone until August to promote Guardians of the Galaxy or if the WWE just didn't want any leaks to ruin a huge storyline swerve.

It had been rumored that The Shield were going to break up at some point, but it was never expected that Rollins would turn heel as most rumors have indicated that Reigns is going to go solo and become a monster babyface, with a speculated match with Triple H rumored for SummerSlam on Aug. 17.

The Shield was set to break up prior to WrestleMania XXX, but was kept together and turned face because the New Age Outlaws wanted to work with the trio before it disbanded. The Outlaws teamed with Kane to battle The Shield on April 6 in New Orleans.

Following that event, the Hounds of Justice had so much momentum that they were kept face to feud with Evolution/The Authority and The Wyatt Family throughout the spring. Now, following Monday's events, it seems as though the break up is permanent and could lead to big things for them individually once the fallout is sorted through.

Reigns and Ambrose were kept off of WWE's tapings Tuesday night, but they did appear in a dark match against Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. They were likely kept off of SmackDown to sell the injuries and build to a confrontation on this Monday's live episode of RAW.

It remains to be seen where the storyline progresses, but things will be interesting for the trio now that The Shield is no longer a group and they embark on careers outside of the stable.
