Two nations looking to return to form will do battle today in an international friendly between Greece and Nigeria. The World Cup tune-up scheduled for 7 p.m. ET will be held at PPL Park in Philadelphia and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on beIN Sports.
Now that both teams have pruned down their rosters to 23, preparations for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil will only begin to intensify. Tonight's friendly will provide both Nigeria and Greece a true test ahead of the group stages. For players like Nigeria's Osaze Odemwingie, however, it will serve as an opportunity for redemption.
"In the past few years, my only regret is that, as I've become a better player, I probably would have got more goals for myself and the country, but I missed out a bit," Odemwingie said (via All Africa). "I've missed a year and a half, missed out on the cup they won, unfortunately. I wish I was part of that squad because I've played in four Africa [Cup of] Nations and got three bronze medals, never a gold," he added.
"But I can't look back. This is another opportunity for me."

Player to Watch: Greece's Kostas Mitroglou had a rollercoaster season at the club level. The 26-year-old shined with Olympiacos in domestic and European competition, scoring 16 goals in 17 total appearances. After transferring to Fulham, however, Mitroglou made just three appearances. He contributed nothing to the club's eventual relegation from the Premier League. He will need to revert to his Olympiacos form if Greece plan to advance in Brazil.
Greece's Projected Lineup (4-3-3): Karnezis; Holebas, Manolas, Papastathopoulos, Torosidis; Tziolis, Katsouranis, Maniatis; Samaras, Mitroglou, Salpingidis
Nigeria's Projected Lineup (4-3-3): Enyeama; Echiejile, Ambrose, Oboabona, Omeruo; Onazi, Mikel, Odemwingie; Moses, Emenike, Musa
