Batista walked out on the WWE on Monday night's episode of RAW in storyline, while in reality "The Animal" is taking a hiatus with an August return date being the most probable for the Evolution member.

Seth Rollins Turns Heel on RAW

As seen on RAW, Batista "quit" the company after Triple H wouldn't give him a one-on-one shot for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The current plan calls for Batista to miss two months and return in August right in time for SummerSlam on Aug. 17, though his role for the show isn't clear at this time.

Batista is away doing promotional work for Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie which comes out on Aug. 1. "The Animal" is set to play Drax the Destroyer in the film.

CM Punk Attends Blackhawks vs Kings Game 7 Rather Than Payback

The WWE brought Batista back in January with the original plans calling for him to win the Royal Rumble -- which he did -- and then go on to beat Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. The plans were changed when Batista was booed upon arrival and the WWE flipped the script for WrestleMania XXX and had Daniel Bryan emerge as the champion.

Bryan's injury has since muddied the waters with the championship while Batista is set to miss two months. With Batista gone, the WWE opted to turn Seth Rollins of The Shield heel, and he attacked former partners Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns at the end of RAW to fill the void Batista left in Evolution.

Batista had been frustrated over the fact that he was promised a title run and a lot of other things by the WWE, and he has had some problems with the company over payment and his use. Still, he is expected to return in August for whatever role the WWE has for him.

"The Animal" has also been mad about internet fans and even responded on Twitter to fans that were commenting on his blue tights at Payback Sunday night when Evolution battled The Shield in a No Holds Barred six-man elimination tag team match.

Batista was wearing blue trunks, causing #Bluetista to start trending on Twitter. The wrestler-turned-actor then took to Twitter to express his frustration over the trend.

"6 guys go 2 war and beat the sh-- out of each other and what do the genius smarks walk away with? Batista wore blue! What a loser!" #dips----"

Batista will be out until August and his role remains unclear when he returns at SummerSlam.
